Throughout the present work, part of the experience of the Center for Research in Security, State and Society (CISES), in the framework of the Project "Security and Human Rights" is recovered. The project in question had as its specific objectives: (1) To analyse information from judicial and journalistic sources concerning different cases of police abuse in the Province of Santa Fe; (2) Explore existing national and international
standards and protocols dealing with the rational use of the police force; 3) To promote meetings and exchanges between police officers and representatives of the Ministry of Security and the Human Rights Secretariat of the Province of Santa Fe. This report seeks to reflect the experiences and results obtained during the working year, as well as the obstacles, debates and learning that were presented as a result of the exchange between police personnel and team members in Recreo and Rosario during October 2019.
