Abstract

The following essay proposes to analyze the situation of Islas Malvinas, Georgias del Sur, Sandwich del Sur and the surrounding maritine spaces (Malvinas Issue) with the aim of making a reflection on the processes of decolonization through the Resolution Number 2065 of the General Assembly of the United Nations, exposed by the Argentine Ambassador José Ruda where the legitimate right of Argentina on the Islas Malvinas is based on historical, juridical and geographical reasons jointly inquired on the importance of Islas Malvinas in the Latin American place and multilateral organisms.

Malvinas Issue is for Argentina a state’s policy, besides through these years the legitimate claim has received the support of Latin American countries as well as the international community in general and of important international organizations that fight for the pacific resolution of the dispute.
