Abstract

This article provides an analysis of the performativity, potentiality and representation of the intangible body. What and who makes one body matter more than another ? Could an absent body occupy the public space? What conditions are required for this to happen? To answer this questions, this papel explores and links the case study of the 43 missing students of Ayotzinapa with the representations derived from the “absent body”. Therefore, the challenge is to demostrate that the visibility of the body goes beyond the material nature.
