Abstract

In this paper, we reflect on the most important facts that have shaped the Bolivia´s recent history, since Evo Morales inauguration in 2006, through his forced resignation in 2019 and the holding of the presidential elections one year later. Without attempting a conclusive analyse of this issue, we try to identify those elements that -in our understanding - have set the compass of bolivian political life, whose course culminated, for the moment, with the return of the MAS to the government but without Morales. Arce is ready to rule. The questions are many and the challenges even more.
