Abstract

The aim of this paper is to carry out a comparative analysis of the way in which the so-called “Malvinas Question” was addressed between the administrations of President Mauricio Macri (2015-2019) and Alberto Fernández (2019-2022). The analysis focuses on comparing three specific variables: The bilateral relationship developed with the United Kingdom; the multilateral relationship and with International Organizations; the domestic policy developed. We will work on the analysis of discourses, actions implemented, agreements and strategies that both developed at the local, regional and international levels, in order to identify similarities and differences on progress around the sovereign dispute.
