Abstract

The objective of this article is to analyze the repercussions produced by the deepening of cooperation between China and the Solomon Islands in particular -specifically, from the signing of a security pact in 2022- and the nations of the South Pacific in general -except for those countries that do not recognize the People's Republic-, understanding these repercussions as manifestations resulting from an alteration in the balance of power in the region.
