Abstract

Why do we have to recover the effective sovereignty of the Malvinas Islands? This article identifies and examines four answers to a question that, at first, seems obvious. The first reason is linked to the past and justice. The second reason is associated with the present and the economy. The third and fourth are related to the future and international security. All of them are complementary to each other and sufficient in themselves to direct all the nation's forces to the recovery of effective sovereignty of our Malvinas Islands.
