Public Policies and Masculinities:
An Analysis of Plan Más Vida in La Matanza City, Buenos Aires, Argentina (1994-2018)

This paper see how masculinities appear or not in design and implementation of Plan Más Vida in La Matanza City, Buenos Aires, Argentina. It analyzes what are the gender conceptions that underlie Plan Más Vida normative, it recognyzes which are the different masculinities conceptions that workers of Más Vida have and how the gender conceptions interact with others social inequalities.
The development of this research work highlights the gap between hegemonic masculinity underlying public policy and the various masculinities that exist, particularly those that manifest themselves from the processes of family restructuring during the period of state reform.
This research contributes new questions that allow to continue advancing in the study of masculinities and their relation with public policies.
