Abstract

The present work presents a theoretical-conceptual approach to understanding Argentine foreign policy in its interrelation with the global systemic order. This approach orients towards thinking about a pattern of international insertion that is part of a set of public policies aimed at inclusive development. To carry out the aforementioned, we will first take a tour of the paradigms of International Relations, highlighting those elements that contribute to the proposed theoretical scheme. Secondly, we will do the same with the paradigms of Argentine foreign policy. Thirdly, we will theorize and expand the concept of hegemonic interdependence as a contribution to the understanding the global order and the argentine foreign policy. Fourthly, we will disaggregate this concept into its external and internal dimensions applied to the design of an international insertion pattern. Finally, we will present some conclusions and research perspective —deepen this proposed theoretical proposal and disaggregate it into empirical indicators for its application to the study of cases in Latin America and Argentina.
